by William Jaggard, Elveden, Suffolk, United Kingdom, circa 1940s, carved shoulders and wings, original paint, glass eyes, cast metal beak, 14 in. long,. Condition: good condition. Notes: Jaggard continued the carving business of his father-in-law and mentor, James Rolph. Along with Rolph and Harry Boddy, Jaggard was among England's most prolific makers.
