hinged in at top to mat, two periods of conservation to edges with restoration to paper loss and tears extending to image notably at map title, likely restoration along bottom third of map with lightened area between "s" and "e" of "sea" and a few small pinholes/losses near top left of map scale, archivally framed, all edges supported with Japan paper at edges for support and mounting with archival tape, presents well; frame with some areas of light wear at corners, in overall good condition
