American, 20th century: candlestick depicting a groundhog seated on a book and holding a candle, stamped "Out of one hundred copies made this number-29 Ernest Thompson Seton" with paw print, "J. L. Clark, Modeller/Rowfant Club Cleveland 1903", foundry stamp on base "Tiffany Studios New York/Designed by Ernest Thompson Seton" (1860-1946), sculpted by James L. Clark (1883-1969), 8-3/4 in.; candlestick presented to Benjamin Carr [sic] with a book by Benjamin Karr, [Verses,] with a foreword by Jesse C. Glasier, privately printed by Cleveland The Rowfant Club, 1930, 145/150 copies printed by Horace Karr at Cleveland by Jesse C. Glasier both in good condition
