mid-19th century, with inscription [Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense] (translates loosely "Shamed be he who thinks evil of it") surrounding crest that represents the royal arms of the British monarch, 1837-present, 29 x 22 x 10 in., on a custom steel modern stand height 57 in., surface abrasions and scattered losses with some repairs to applied letters, edge patch at back and other scattered distress (see detailed photos).
