19th century, two-case construction, upper case with central butler's desk set with three light-wood drawers and a rosewood-veneered and leather-lined writing surface with fold-out flaps, interior drawers with removable travel cover, recessed brass pulls, dovetailed drawers with oak linings, original turned feet, 41 x 39 x 18-3/4 in.. Condition: good condition overall, desk interior lacking part of one pull, minor warping to writing flaps, minor sun fading to central drawer facing, other typical surface flaws.
