Five-piece bedroom suite signed François Linke, a fine collection of Old Master drawings including Hubert Robert, Servandoni, Chaix, Amand, a follower of Redouté, twelve botanical watercolors by Alexandre Descubes, fine art by or attributed to Pierre Mignard, Tobias Stranover, Jules Breton, and Julius Paulsen, as well as fine British and Continental silver.

Condition

structurally sound, muslin upholstery with wear and discolorations, seat rail with burlap covering, later wood strip liner and many upholstery tack holes, old bracing with insect holes (not active), later glue blocks and one replaced brace, one leg with doweled repair, two legs with spliced repairs at seat rail joints, likely had decorative brackets no longer present, other scattered wear and imperfections from age and use
