Officer's Saber Richmond, Virginia, circa 1861-1862, engraved half-basket guard interior, and top and sides of pommel, finely etched blade engraved with "CS", emblems and tobacco leaf designs, single-strand wire grip, scabbard with two brass loops and cap, 30-1/2 in. blade, 38-3/4 in. with Froelich blade and scabbard, blade badly worn, some pitting to guard, cracking to leather on handle.
