American, late 18th century, saber with 27-3/4 in. blade, bone handle, silver-plated guard and pommel, blade with one wide and one narrow fuller, brass-mounted leather scabbard, blade marked "Bolton" and [E Pluribus Unum], 32-5/8 in. leather scabbard dry, cracked and weak in one spot, blade with dark spots and pitting toward tip.
