Cabinet Chinese, late 19th/early 20th century, elaborate fine gilt decoration, lift top with dragon, open well over two doors with brass hardware fronting six drawers with engraved brass pulls, straight molded base with floral banding, 12 x 11 x 9-1/2 in., extensive losses to lacquer at corners, losses and chips to lacquer on doors, some brass mounts unglued, soiling; 1-1/2 in. vertical crack near center of lid, lid with several cracks; bottom of top compartment with several horizontal cracks; cracks at back hinges, one hinge lacking pin, 3-1/2 in. crack extending from bottom of one hinge
