British, 19th century, hinged front glass panel over circular painted dial with Roman numerals marked "Benham & Sons/Wigmore St./London", in scroll carved mahogany case, lower section with escutcheon and relief carved dragon decoration, two side grill panels and one bottom panel opening to works, with key and pendulum, 34 x 19 x 8-1/2 in.
Provenance: From a Private Collection Assembled in Spain and Britain from the 1960s through the 1980s

case with some light wear, surface scratches, and bumps, glass panel with two chips to interior edge, dial paint probably later, not tested for functionality
