possibly Scottish, 18th century, fullers just below spine on each side of blade, blade with scroll engraving and "Andrea Ferara", wood handle, 40-3/4 in. overall handle lacking wrap and wire, guard and blade with dark spots, nicks and wear consistent with age and use.
