Continental, 17th/18th century, the paneled box set with massive wrought iron carrying handles, leaf and floral decoration overall, mounted with a double-eagle escutcheon, 19 x 42 x 22 in.. Condition: escutcheon possibly a later addition, later surface paint, extensive rust and corrosion to bottom and bottom edge of case. Provenance: Collection of Anne and Robert K.
