Lift-Top Coffer Continental, 18th/19th century, hinged lid and open interior, set with elaborate wrought iron hasp and lock escutcheon, wrought carrying handles, bosses at corners, interior with traces of early papering, 7-1/2 x 15-1/2 x 9-1/2 in., later black paint, some metal bosses replaced, patch at bottom board and at side of lid, otherwise generally good condition.
