(Greensboro, Green County, Pennsylvania, circa 1870) small caliber, 36 in octagonal barrel, inset brass blade front sight, split rear sight, top of barrel engraved "B E", engraved back action lock and cock, double set triggers, figured walnut full stock, inset silver inlay on stock, lock plate screw and under forend, all engraved with foliate flourishes, two piece brass butt plate, faceted brass trigger guard, brass end cap, ramrod pipes and thimble, maple ramrod, overall 51-3/4 in.

oxidation in bore, patina to exterior of barrel, pitting adjacent to breech, loss to metal behind nipple, handling wear to stock consistent with age and use, some small chips and scratches, 2 in. hairline crack to left side of fore stock, 6 in. splinter repair to left side of fore stock with extended associated hairline, two other small hairlines to edge of fore stock, small crack at side lock screw, loss to blade on front sight, altered rear sight, metal components with mellow patina, oxidation and some minor staining, action in functioning condition
