A pair of views with ducks: A Dog Surprising a Mallard Family, with parrot and frogs, and A Hawk Descending on a Group of Ducks, one signed on vase with conjoined monogram "BDC...", oil on canvas, 50-1/2 x 40 in.; matching original panel frames,. Condition: both lined and restretched on early 20th century stretchers, both with crackle, abrasions at edges, both with retouch, 'Hawk' with overcleaning; frames resurfaced.
