Youth Looking Upward, inscribed lower right "Guido Reni", charcoal, red and white chalk on laid paper with circular watermark surmounted by crown, 7-3/4 x 10-3/4 in.
Note: An inscription verso implies this drawing was part of the collection of Kaye Dowland (L.691) and bears the signature verso "Kaye Dowland/1869/363.." Drawings from his collection were purchased by The British Museum from 1917 to 1948. A search reveals that there are many important works of art that were collected by Dowland in the 19th century including Lord Byron ephemera.
