This is a variation study for Plate 7 (Saphire p. 238) from the portfolio La Ville, Teriade Editeur, Paris, 1959. The portfolio comprises 29 color lithographs by Fernand Leger depicting life and people in Paris. It was accomplished under the supervision of the artist's wife, Nadia Leger.
