American, circa 1890, portieres of yellow silk satin with applied borders of yellow and white silk Neoclassical style wreath and scroll pattern damask, lined with off white cotton sateen, comprising: pair of curtains, 27 x 97 in. and valance trimmed with tassels composed of yellow silk thread wrapped wood beads and small floriform ornaments, 24 x 144 in.; with similar drapery treatment comprising two identical valances, each swagged with horizontal pleats, tacked with four self rosettes at upper edge; lower edge trimmed with yellow silk bullion fringe, 17 x 68 in., and curtain or portiere panel, 42 x 73 in.; similar valance with horizontal pleats at upper corners and silk bullion fringe lower edge, 34 x 21 in.; group of drapery trim components, largest 4 x 100 in.; table runner of yellow silk satin with applied 3 in. wide blue and yellow silk stylized floral pattern ribbon border and trimmed with tassels, cotton lining, approximately 97 x 23 in.; four similar chair cushions, 16 x 17 in.; and settee cushion, 59 x 17 in.
