American and probably British, late 18th century, comprising: a pair of Philadelphia attributed examples, possibly by Daniel Trotter, with finely carved backs and serpentine front rails, 36-1/2 x 21-1/2 x 19-1/4 in.; with a closely related pair, also with serpentine front rails, probably British; and a third pair, probably British, with straight seat rails; all with matching yellow silk damask upholstery
