Afghanistan, late 20th century, red panels attached with diamond-shaped inserts that are embroidered and have triangular pieces of fabric sandwiched between the front and back squares, felt, velvet and silk, probably used as a camel trapping for wedding celebration, 63 x 61 in.; wood frame, 72 x 68 in. fading, losses of embroidery, scattered holes, separations, wear to velvet, not examined out of frame.
