19th century, elaborately carved desk, fabric-lined writing surface opening to two interior drawers, over five drawers, side door with four interior drawers surmounted by one additional, hidden, spring-loaded drawer, set on figural carved legs and feet, 44-1/2 x 27 x 24 in.; together with a similar side chair with matching fabric, 33-1/4 in.
