Sab De Angeles and Fils Ewer
Naples, Italy, 1905 (dated 1805), wide spout with beaded edge, acanthus leaf loop handle, reclining rams on top rim, applied winged putto seated at base of body, circular base stamped "Sab De Angeles and Fils, Naples 1805", 8-3/4 in. minor surface losses to patina with some oxidation. Notes: The Naples foundry was renowned for producing reproductions for the Museo Nazionale Napoli.. Provenance: Property of a South African Collector
