18th/19th century, the double-eagle carved crest with crown and heraldic shield over three dovetailed drawers each with figural carved pulls above an elaborately carved fallboard set with original iron escutcheon and hinges over a finely carved battle scene, fitted interior with elaborately carved drawer facings, dovetailed drawers with walnut secondary, central prospect door opening to six additional drawers with dragon and lion mask facings, fully carved case sides, scroll and shell feet, 50 x 38 x 18 in.. Condition: minor repairs at carved crest, fallboard with shrinkage cracks and some associated losses and lacking support chains, other scattered minor flaws to carving and veneers.
