probably New York, early 18th century, oval batten top with star and geometric inlay, stretcher base with robust turnings, single dovetail drawer, cherry and oak with pine secondary, 30 in.; Provenance: early label for N.S. Lockwood Antiques, Private New England Collection
Some repinning at joints, some water damage at bottom of feet, separation to top with two later butterflies at underside, lacking batten pins, cracks to top with two areas of infill, scattered inlay restorations, underside of top with four unused holes (probably from later brace, now removed), battens under top have been truncated, drawer possibly old restoration
