Note: Until 1948, this bookcase contained the Virginia Historical Societies rare book collection. Until 2020, the bookcase was used to store a substantial portion of the library of Conway Robinson (1805-1884), a Richmond attorney, legal author, and longtime chairman of the executive committee of the Virginia Historical Society.
