attributed to Bergen County, New Jersey, early 19th century, with elaborate reeded moldings, upper case with two arched painted doors opening to blue painted and scalloped shelved interior, lower case with two dovetailed drawers over two paneled doors, on spiral turned feet, poplar and white pine, in early probably original white paint and wash, undisturbed backboards with cut nails, original brass pulls, 90 x 47 x 17-1/2 in. - Provenance: with old write up from Dutch House Antiques, Valley Cottage, New York, 1997 indicating a price of $8,500

in good, largely original condition overall, scattered wear and losses to paint, later interior paint, scattered minor losses and bumps to moldings, including at one paneled door, other scattered wear and abrasions, especially at case sides˜
