Note: Antique mostly illegible hand written label to underside indicates this table was owned by Dr. Caleb Fiske M.D. (1753-1834). Dr. Fiske was from Rhode Island and a direct descendent of Roger Williams, the founder of Rhode Island. Fiske was a surgeon in the revolutionary war, and went on to be President of the Rhode Island Medical Society. The Caleb Fiske prize for medical essays is still given out to this day.
