New England, 18th century, maple with white pine and walnut secondary, dovetailed drawers, scalloped skirt, original brass batwing drawer pulls and escutcheons, bandy legs with rare boot-form feet, 61-1/2 x 41 x 20 in. good condition overall, later dark brown surface color, one front toe is pieced, others with some cracks and water damage at underside (feet and legs appear to otherwise be intact though the dark finish makes the ankles difficult to read), bed moldings probably original, lacking one lock and one bail handle.
