Pennsylvania, early 19th century, case deccorated with central urn and flower motif with song birds, stenciled star and compass star decoration on redish brown ground, dovetailed case, original turned feet, open interior with lidded till, 27-1/4 x 48-1/2 x 21 in.,. early dry paint surface with wear and losses especially to top, lacking one side molding, minor cracks to foot plinths, some areas of front lightly cleaned, scattered dents, escutcheon likely replaced, the paint is old but appears to be over an early red wash
