probably Pennsylvania, 19th century with bright faux mahogany grain paint overall, open interior with candle till and later red cedar lining, two dovetailed drawers, poplar and white pine, 23 x 37 x 18-1/2 in.  original paint generally good with some wear, abrasions and minor retouch, minor chips and wear to moldings, later cedar interior linings, some wear and losses at feet, cracks and repairs at both rear legs, breaks and repairs with one patch at hinges
