Chest probably Pennsylvania, 19th century, the case boldly painted in faux mahogany grain paint, poplar throughout with lidded walnut till, original painted and turned feet, 44 x 25 x 20 in.. Condition: good condition, surface wear and scratches to paint especially at top, lacking lock and with replaced brass escutcheon, other scattered minor flaws.
