New York, early 19th century, painted dial signed "Mitchell & Mott, New York", with scrolled decoration, weights and pendulum, eight day brass movement, inlaid figured mahogany case with quarter columns, scrolled pediment with painted tympanum, 97 x 21 x 10 in.
wear to dial paint, lacking seconds hand, side frets of bonnet replaced, lacking central finial, later paint on tympanum, case with typical minor veneer repairs and flaws, original feet with very minor repairs and small loss at toe, upper part of back board restored
