New York, circa 1790, shield back with openwork drapery swag and bellflower carved splat, over the rail upholstery, reeded tapered legs with spade feet, 38 x 22 x 18 in., seat height 19-1/2 in.

Condition

good condition overall, top of crest rail with area of discoloration, surface retouch, some minor sun fading at back, upholstery with light wear and stains, not examined under upholstery

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges.
