New England, early 19th century, fold-over top, serpentine skirt with bookmatched flame birch veneer, rosewood banding, reeded legs, 29-1/4 x 36 x 17-1/2 in. (closed). Condition: good condition overall, one front leg attachment loose, scattered minor veneer patches and repairs, underside inscribed "Repaired and refinished by Roy Payne, Nashville Tenn. 1970", minor scratches to top.
