probably Philadelphia, circa 1810, well-carved back over needlepoint-upholstered seat with serpentine front rail, tapered and line-inlaid legs, 34-1/4 in.. Condition: breaks and repairs at front legs (upper sections pieced), repairs with plugged screws at joint of rear stiles to seat frame, some cracks and color retouch to crest.
