Mahogany Writing Desk
probably Connecticut, circa 1800, top with baize-lined fold-down writing flap and three inlaid interior drawers over a single inlaid long drawer, double tapered line and bellflower inlaid legs, poplar and white pine secondary, 33-1/2 x 30 x 18 in.. Condition: good condition overall, patch and repair at front edge of top, brasses replaced, two plugged holes in drawer facing, some restoration to drawer secondary, inscribed "Restored by Roy Payne Nolansville Tnn 1970", break and repair at one front leg.
