Pennsylvania, late 18th century, curved crest with scrolled ends, spindle back, shaped arms and ring-and-baluster-turned arm supports, deeply shaped seat, turned legs with stretchers, 47 in., back rail set with later metal brace repairing two breaks and repairs (one now separated), old refinishing, some minor distress at joints of legs and arm supports to seat, old crack and nail repair at front edge of seat, other minor repairs.
