possibly Southern states, circa 1820s, bookmatched figured mahogany panel with inlaid brass surround, leaf-carved scrolled arms, hairy paw feet, yellow pine secondary, 32-3/4 x 86 x 22-1/2 in., currently unupholstered, one break and repair at crest rail, scattered surface wear and gilding losses with some areas of retouch, rear legs with scattered pest damage (possibly old replacements), medial braces replaced, other scattered repairs.
