attributed to Baltimore, circa 1830s, in the manner of John Needles, tilting top over urn turned pedestal, molded saber legs with brass paw casters, highly figured segmented veneered top, poplar and white pine secondary, 28-3/4 x 34-3/4 x 34-1/2 in.
Condition
restorations to top (core wood appears to be reused and with scars from previous attachments), some warping with shrinkage cracks at laminations, other scratches and distress, top and base possibly associated (attachments reconfigured with later or reset battens and lock catch), bumps and footwear at legs
