and Marble-Top Gentleman's Bureau circa 1840, upper case with paneled cabinet doors with shelved interiors, lower case with marble top, center section of top over a fitted butler's drawer over three long drawers, poplar secondary, dovetailed and nailed construction, 84 x 41-1/2 x 23 in. generally good condition, scattered minor veneer repairs, chips and losses, possibly original glass drawer pulls (no plugged holes), some chips and veneer distress at pediment, felt lining on writing surface replaced.
