New York, probably third quarter 19th century, finely carved and gilt spread-wing eagle over a leaf-carved circular mirror frame centering a convex mirror plate, 52 x 29 in., breaks and repairs at eagle's wings, other scattered minor repairs to carved elements, gilding with scattered cracks, flaking and areas of retouch, base pendant drop possibly partly resurfaced.
