circa 1770-1780, likely New York, upper case with molded cornice, chamfered fluted stiles, two short drawers over three long drawers, lower case with frieze drawer over three lower drawers, scalloped drop pendant skirt, foliate carved cabriole legs, ball and claw feet, 71-3/4 x 44 x 21-1/2 in.

Condition

retains an old dark finish with scattered wear along legs and areas of heavy cleaning along drawer facings, upper case with scattered thin cracks and old areas of later pinning, small losses to drawer molding and and patch repairs to drawer facings, drawers with replaced secondary boards, feet and legs with scattered losses at laminated areas, some toe losses, rear leg with replaced corner return, other rear leg lacking corner return, other general wear expected with age and use, replaced brasses

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
