middle Atlantic states or Southern, early 19th century, very highly figured cherry throughout, with one board top and case sides, set on original dovetailed bracket feet, 24-1/2 x 49-1/2 x 20-3/4 in.; accompanied by copy of invoice from Polk Place Antiques, July 9, 2005 for $1,950??Provenance: purchased from Polk Place Antiques, Nashville, Tennessee, 2005; Property From a Franklin, Tennessee Historic Home
generally good condition,original feet with one replaced spur and one missing (one side skirt restored), repaired crack at one hinge (hinges possibly old replacements, not removed for exam), stains and one minor patch at top, some cracks and distress at top molding, other typical wear
Condition
For regional auctions, purchased items not picked up in Richmond by noon on Sunday will then be returned to our Asheville auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
