Note: Early in his career Alfred Casson was greatly influenced by his mentor Franklin Carmichael and the other artists that would later form the Group of Seven artists. He was one of the founding members of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour in 1925. A year after, he was invited to join the Canadian "Group of Seven". This print was issued as a gift by the Canada Malting Company in Toronto in the 1940s. - Provenance: Private Collection
