Note: This work is included in the database for the Albert Bierstadt Catalogue Raisonné Project. Prior to conservation in the 1980s, there had been an inscription on the stretcher that read "Lake Mary". Lake Mary is east of Yosemite National Park, near Mammoth Lakes and Devils' Post National Monument.
