circa late 1800s, churn with olive tan alkaline glaze, heavy rutile highlights in glaze runs to exterior and whole interior, cylindrical from with tapered shoulder, stamped "3" capacity mark, lug handle and tailed strap handles on opposing shoulders, flared rim and lid ledge, likely Cleburne or Randolph County, 14-3/4 in.; jug with Albany slip glaze, olive green glaze melt runs down from straight wide spout, ovoid form, inscribed "3" capacity mark at shoulder, arched strap handle, unknown maker, 14-1/4 in.

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction, or will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.

glaze voids and anomalies as made, churn with minor surface wear, base edge wear, some tiny rim frits and surface glaze frits, good condition overall, jug with surface wear and some abrasions, glaze frits throughout body, six glaze frits to rim measuring 1 in., 1/2 in., 1/2 in., 1/4 in. and smaller, wear and chips to base edge, 2 in. abrasion up from base edge
