Summer-Peasants Going to Market, after the painting circa 1618, unsigned, 18th century or possibly earlier, black chalk, pen and black ink with body color on laid paper, 20-1/4 x 30 in. (50.8 x 76.2 cm.); possibly 18th century carved and gilt wood frame, 25-5/8 x 35-3/8 in.
Note:The original painting is held by the Royal Collection Trust and housed at Buckingham Palace along with a pendant painting "Winter" (RCIN 401416). This work is possibly a preliminary drawing for an engraving. One known early engraving varies from this work.
