British, possibly 18th century with restorations, trailing rosette leaf and vine streamers, oval mirror plate with gilt surround, 54 x 22-1/2 in.
scattered minor losses to leaves with some wear and paint retouch to gilding, mirror plate and backboard replaced, surface wear and gilding losses (back of frame and ornament with later paint making age determination difficult)
