per Sotheby's condition report from the 2023 auction, "In overall very fine condition. The painted dial in overall good condition, with two small flaked areas of loss. Lacking one of the applied brasses in the stop fluting on the proper right side of the case. Secondary woods are white pine and Atlantic white cedar. The interior of the waist door is signed with dates of service from the 19th century and retains original instructions printed by Paul Revere. Minor shrinkage cracks to the front of the bonnet. Retaining its original weights and pendulum.
