possibly Southwark, mid 17th century, cylindrical pot with row of bosses, S shaped spout and scroll handles, flanged cover with mushroom knop, covered all over in a white tin glaze with pinkish undertones, 6-3/8 x 8-1/2 in. - Note: A similar example of a white glazed posset pot with boss decoration is in the V & A Museum, number 589&A-1922.For another example, see British Delft at Williamsburg by John C. restoration/retouch to area of rim, spout, and handle, some rim chips and glaze hairlines, small firing flaws (as made), light scratches, lid in good condition and probably a replacement
